Youth Transition Support Initiative

This program is funded by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to reengage young people who have disengaged from Education and Training.  The program provided funding for two positions, one based in Cobram servicing the Moira Shire and the other in Shepparton with outreach across Greater Shepparton and Strathbogie Shire.  This program uses innovative approaches to assist young people identify and overcome barriers to education and training including participating in a wilderness program and involvement in the establishment of an alternate education program in Cobram.
